I'm on a little happy mood today. I have clear 2 calculative and 1 theory based papers within 2 days. On the bad side, I have one more paper to go and I have yet to begin anything.
to end my post. I'm so going to watch Harry Potter 7 once my exam end.
It's my last paper yesterday, compare to Linux this is much easier than Friday paper, I almost died right away when I saw the Linux paper. But I think BRCOM paper wasn’t an easy paper either. In both way, both paper are hard =S
I'm finally able to meet my dearest Audrey and Lisa out for a walk. Envy them till the end, where they end their poly life right before cny. Cool right? Where I'm still doing FYP and BRCOM assignment. =S but it's over anyway. =D
It's been fast that poly life has ended, what's left now is the path that I'm going to take. Many options available but unsure if it's workable. But still, I got to try, not to give up and give my best till the end. Who's know, you might just get the jobs you want eventually.
Met up with fyp group mate right after our last paper. Headed over to Fish and Co to celebrate that we had completed our last paper and fyp! Though, it just 2 weeks that fyp ended. It's seem that it's been ages that I didn’t see them. We used to work like some zombies and now we are just so free. My asst. leader said that she missed the time when I keep prompting her in msn to update me on the statue of the report. Oh no, I'm feeling guilty now. =S we concluded that we shall have steamboat for the next outing. =D
I stare at the notes, the notes generally stare back at me too. Seriously, I don’t know how should I study for BRCOM. After with a long chat with Audrey on the trip we are heading in March, I cant seem to concentrate on my studies. Audrey's fault =P I'm just kidding.
I cant pin much hope in Linux test, whatever I have studied, it didn’t come out. =S no ssh, no smbclient. But man command is my favorite line during the test, I just simply man here and there. Got to thanks Wai Teck for passing me the harddisk as school image on linux had limited access =S and guiding me. Thanks!
Met up with astro peep for dinner session yesterday. It’s been really very long since I last saw them, been busy with fyp since school start.
I do love visit pet society at times. Cause I always have gifts from my friends =D
My FYP group is still not yet formed. Something to be frustrating enough.
Last paper, ISNS. At least I wrote it with some understand on what I'm writing. Expect that 10 marks question. On some security architecture, and I actually wrote Firewall architecture. Pretty cool huh? I totally forgot that part.
Year 2 is ending. I think this is the most exciting, stressful, interesting and sad year I have in poly.
Exciting? New classmates. Divided into 3 option. Information System, Mobile Appliance, and Game Option. New class, New classmate and of course for my year 1 classmates who choose the same option as me. Most importantly, Karen is still the same class with me. =)
Then, Being in MC in CSCC. Learn tons of stuff. Camps, events, Talentime. Gain tons of knowledge. Thanks!
Interesting? I have interesting lecturers this semesters. Like my DSAL lecturer. Always stand behind my back while looking at me typing the code. The moment he talked, I jumped. And one of my GEM lecturer. "so, this is your second gem you took? You forward Gem is it?" cause she wanted to know which choice I choose for her gem. And I put 1/2. not forgetting my WEBA and SAPP lecturer. With a mic with him. He still prefer to shout. =)
But.. Although, he seem to be a bit weird in my impression. But he is a nice lecturer. Always argue with him when come to coding. But, in the end. He's right, I'm wrong. Not just learning modules from him, he also taught us something which we cant learn in textbook. =) great lecturer.
I enjoy studying this semester 2 module =D cause it's VB.
Stressful? You can either be as free as you have nothing to do during the first semester. Or you can be as busy and tried as you hope you sleep and doing you work at the same time, for the second semester.
First semester was pretty slack. I still can played around. As for second semester. I have lack of sleep. Assignments after assignment after assignment. After the term break, you might be handing 1 assignment on Monday, having an end of module test on Wednesday, another assignment to be hand in on Friday. Till your exams are over. Horrible days wasn’t it? Often heard this from Karen. "Daphne, how? Cannot finish. Die together?"
Sad? The class gotta be separate again. Attachment first or FYP first. This time round. I'm going to be lonely, only 7 classmate from our class is going for attachment first. The rest are going on the second semester. FYP group consist of 5 people. So what are the remaining 2 going to do? And I'm one of them, Karen is the another of them. Lecturer say "Find group that you can work with." but, I left with strangers. And junxiong, wee cheng, terence most of my year 1 classmate are going attachment second semester.
I dislike going attachment first.
Maybe what my SAPP lecturer, Mr Tan say is right. "You must love what you dislike. Because in real life, you won't always get what you like."
So, I have to accept it then.
Must special thanks to Karen. Thanks her for being my partner for all the assignments since year 1. we often like to complain, GUI suck, change. Code not efficient, change. ERD so ugly, redraw. Database wrong, redo.
Just when I was about to go club today, and she's going Popular for some stuff. She said; "See you." replied: "This year September?" got to pause a semester. And we shall work together for FYP. =D
Also must the rest of my classmate. For helping me in assignments, tutorials and many more. =D like Jun xiong, Wee Cheng, Terence, Wei Kang and more. =D got to miss the fun out with them.

This semester was all about theory of IT. Not really related to programming. For once, I desire to have some programming paper than all this theory papers. But, when you are having programming paper, you wish you have less programming paper and more on theory paper. Funny mindset that we have. Right? However, all this theory modules are all inter link. Example. MDAD is related to SAPP, SAPP is related to WEBA. And it go on.
Can't wait till exam are over. Then I shall declare H-O-L-I-D-A-Y
5 more days to end of exam. =D I must think the positive side.

Just 3 days of school open. Feel so horrible. Sleepless night daily, just to do revision for test and rushing assignments. 2 weeks of holiday is just not enough to cover all this.
Some stuffs to be happy about but not all of them. ISNS Assignment, SAPP Exam, TFC Assignment, BUOM Presentation All done. I have clear this 4 things within 3 days.
SAPP and WEBA Assignment deadline have been postpone. I'm so glad that the lecturer actually extend the deadline. If not, I don’t think I will be here blogging.
I still have, ELIT Presentation, WEBA Assignment, WEBA Exam, SAPP Assignment, MDAD Assignment, ELIT Exam. To be fill up within the 2 weeks. And it's like 2 days interval of each events.
On top of that, I have been scheduling for interview for my attachment. Horrible month.
After that, I will be having my exams. Gosh.. Glad that it's only 3 exams. BUOM, MDAD, ISNS. x)
BUOM Presentation went quite well for my group. =)
SAPP was a gone case for me. Went in the exam hall, almost empty minded. Funny thing it was. Saw the question. I remember the chapter, I remember the page, I remember the lines. But I just don’t remember the codes. In the end, I create my own code. And it's rubbish.
WEBA Assignment, another gone case. when the assignment is done. I shall be good at using cookie. cookie here, cookie there, cookie everywhere in my assignment. right now, i know how to bake cookie but, I don't know how to use programming cookie. hate sql, join 2, 3 tables together. Karen much worst, join 4 tables together just to retrieve some form. hai. I must finish WEBA soon.
Shall look for 1 month later, where it's holiday. I shall fully enjoy this holiday. I shall meet up with all my friends, Shuyi, Julia, Jin Ru, Lisa, Jasmine and many more. Miss them!
Shouldn’t be blogging anymore till my exams are over I guess. Meantime, I guess I will stay out of cca, wont go club unless important than my exams and assignment. =)

TFC assignment, I only left 1 storyboard and 2 fieldtrip to write up. Photos that I took for fieldtrip is crap. I'm going Vivo City and Clack Quay again to take all the photos again. who want tag along with me?
Met Joycelyn just now, accompany her to buy Christmas stuffs. Went to try clothes for AD (Appreciation Dinner) stuff. But cant get any suitable one. And the dinner is next Wednesday. =) bless me then.

Although it's only 2 paper has pass. But, it's seem that I went in the exam room with an empty brain. I kept saying to myself "yes, I remember this part. It's in slide/page whatever. But I cant seem to remember out the detail of it." it's totally suck, does it?
DEUI paper, totally a everyday paper. No wonder it's call Design For User Interaction. Questions like, design icon to represent "link" and "modify" function, explain. If I never came across something call Photoshop. There's go my 10 marks.
DSAL paper, 100% pure coding paper (to me). We were given additional 10 minutes as there are many errors in that paper. Even though the error are corrected, I manage to do part of it only. Forward that module? I'm dead.
Upon doing all the revision I figure out, lecturer have been given hints on what question to be appear for exams. It's just that do we actually pay attention to what the lecturer says. I didn’t, do you? And all the slide and practicals that we did, it's actually very useful to your assignment. But I think none of my classmate do really care, assignment mean assignment who care about reading the slide.
Went NDOC on Wednesday with some of my classmate. Humm it's actually quite nice and enjoyable watching the performances. Let's see, we have mini helicopters? Some hip hop dances, kindergarden children performing.
It's actually also make me realized that I never celebrate National Day with my secondary school classmate before. Not even once during my days in Henderson. Well, Sec 1 - 3, I was representing Guides for school NDP. Sec 4 and 5 I was one of the award winner.
Begin my National Day with Harry Potter movie. What can I comment about it? Well, although there are many missing scenes, but yet and interesting show to watch. Although this movie is already on aired for quite a long time. But I end up in one of the corner of the first second row. And i actually woke up at 9am just to catch the 11am show. x)
I enjoy watching this year NDP show too! =)
